Alphonse Louis Steinbeck III (アルフォンスルイスタインベック III Arufonsuruisutainbekku III?) was a long suffering teacher at Nakado Academy, often caught up in the antics and schemes of the various demons seeking revenge against Devilman, who disguised himself as Alphonse's student Akira Fudo.
Appearance[]
Alphonse was a tall, gangly man with a pot belly. He had a large under-bite, tiny panda eyes, a pitiful mustache and large, well combed dark hair. He rarely walks with good posture.
Personality[]
Alphonse was a man struck by perpetual bad luck, be it a frequent victim of demonic harassment, bully from his students like Akira Fudo or Iwao Himura or even his peers like Principal Pochi (Who also seemed to be the closet thing he had to a friend). His poor luck isn't entirely without cause though, as Alphonse is a cowardly, arrogant and buffoonish teacher, often creeping on his attractive female students like Miki Makimura and demanding respect without ever actually earning it. He did seem to care about his students safety however, and also had a rarely seen wife and child.
