Masa Bokuto was the leader of a gang that went to Akira's school, he is a minor character seen in the animated film, Devilman: The Birth.
Appearance[]
Masa had a prominent scar across his left eye and replaces the kendo sword with a slingshot equipped with razors. He wore a red and black trench coat with a popped collar and a golden cross necklace.
Personality[]
While cold and needlessly cruel, he showed admiration to Akira's bravery even in the face of such danger, though considered him a little foolish also.
History[]
After Akira finds all but one of the school rabbits dead he was suddenly attacked by the gang who had killed them, sickeningly just for target practice.
They demand Akira give them kill the final rabbit. However Akira refuses, which angers Manjiro, one of the gang, who begins to attack him kicking, him to the ground and hitting him with a bike chain. Akira was saved when Miki came running around the corner and starts shouting at them. As the gang leaves Masa says to Akira that he admired his courage before leaving with the others.
