Miyo is a young girl who lives with her elderly grandmother, who becomes close friends with Tare Makimura after moving nearby. The two develop a tender puppy-love romance over the course of the series, which unfortunately meant that she and her family would fall victim to demon related attacks. Miyo was a supporting character in the 1972 'Devilman' anime.

Miyo was a tiny child with large dark eyes and dark brown hair tied into a top-knot ponytail, kept together with a white bead hair-tie. She wore a green dress, with a floral cut around the neckline and hem, and a large yellow sunflower on the chest.
