Ryo Asuka (Film)

Ryo Asuka, also known as Satan, is the main antagonist of Devilman (Film). Unlike the manga, he is a devilman/demon with no connections with Angels or even God.

Appearance[]

In the film, Ryo Asuka, while in human form, is an Asian kid with blonde hair. As Satan, he is portrayed in a more masculine appearance, whose design bares a slight resemblance to Akira Fudo's Devilman form, in contrast with his manga counterpart who is supposedly intersex.

Trivia[]

Ryo Asuka/Satan is played by Yusuke Izaki, who was at the time a member of the J-Pop band Flame. Devilman was his first acting experience.

Unlike like other depictions, this version of Satan is neither intersex or an angel, instead they are fully male and a Devilman here.
