Yasutaka Nagai (real name Hiroshi Nagai, other pen name Hiroshi Kouenji) is the older brother of Go Nagai, as well as a writer in novels, manga, and screenwriting. He helped found Dynamic Productions.

Yasutaka novels have often wrote novelizations and spin-offs of his brother's manga including True Devilman as well as Susanoo Legends and Shutendoji.
